Wujin Hi-Tech Industrial Zone (WIZ) is located in the southern part of Changzhou Downtown and has a total planning area of 100 square kilometers (with a 9.02 square kilometer start-up area existing).

As a newly formed community service network, the neighborhood center and convenience center integrate the functions of commerce, healthcare, culture and entertainment into the daily lives of residents. Wujin Hi-Tech Industrial Zone (WIZ) has developed a state of the art infrastructure with roads, power, water, gas, steam, drainage, sewerage, communication, cable TV and leveled land.

    Bonded Logistics Center

    Bonded Logistics Center, locating near the exit of Yanjiang Expressway in the central area of the southern part of WIZ, is an important functional platform for WIZ to act as the modern manufacturing base. Under the closed supervision of Changzhou Customs, Bonded Logistics Center is a special zone inside China’s geographic territory but not inside China’s customs territory. Changzhou Customs will implement the record management system for the goods transported from overseas region to Bonded Logistics Center. Bonded Logistics Center will develop international purchase and international delivery for the modern manufacturing and supply solid logistics support for the development of the modern manufacturing through cultivating the industrial chains of logistics. Ultimately, Bonded Logistics Center will become a regional convergence base for goods transported to overseas regions, a tranship base for exported goods, a supply and delivery base for international production materials. The planned area of the first phase of Bonded Logistics Center is 71.66 hectares (including a startup area of 33.33 hectare), with a total investment amount of 1 billion RMB. Warehouses covering an area of 100,000m2 and relative utilities will be planned and constructed as well.
